New Artists

Needs from artist:

• 55-65 minute mix in either .mp3 or .wav files. No mixes under 55 minutes. Any mix over 65 minutes will be shortened anywhere to 60-65 minutes depending on the mix. 

• Promotional drop-ins: intro, bridge and outro. Recorded in .wav files preferably.

• Logo as a vector file, .png preferably. Logo must have a transparent background.

• Photo for bio. 

• Answers from questionnaire. Questionnaire differs per artists. Can receive upon request.

Promotional drop-ins can be, but are not limited to:

• Intro: "Hey everyone, I'm [insert dj name] and you're about to listen to my 60-minute mix on the pajama party radio."

• Bridge: "You're in the mix with [insert dj name] and you're listening to the pajama party radio."

• Outro: "I'm [insert dj name] and that was my 60-minute mix on the pajama party radio. Make sure to follow us on instagram @thepajamapartytv and me [insert instagram handle]. See you next time!”

Feel free to get as creative as you'd like with those. Some of our artists get crazy with it, some just read the script. Your call.

Photos:

We'll need a photo of you to use for your bio on the website and/or your mix's artwork. In the past we've used photos for our mix's artwork and put the text on top of them. More recently, we've been using an AI generator to build graphics for the mix's artwork. If you'd like to use an image for the mix's artwork please send over another photo. If not, just send one of you for your bio and we'll create a graphic for your mix. Please see our instagram page for references.

The Pajama Party is a judgment free zone. We are not going to judge you based on any of your answers. We just want to gain a better understanding of you to promote you more effectively. All mixes do go through a screening process, but we are here to promote anyone’s music regardless of skill level.

1. What is your name? What is your DJ name? Do you produce music? If so, under what name? Do you have any music released on labels? If so, where? Where are you from? Where do you live? Where have you performed live, if at all, and where can we find your mixes or music?

2. How long have you been listening to electronic music? What made you start listening to it? Why has it stuck with you? What artists do you love listening to and why? 

3. Do you frequent concerts and festivals? Which artists do you go to see, if any? What festivals do you like to go to, if any.

4. How long have you been mixing music? What made you start mixing music? What artists have influenced you the most as a DJ and why? What kind of DJ do you want to be and why? What kind of genres, energies and sounds do you enjoy playing and why? Where do you hope DJing takes you, if anywhere?

5. Where are you playing live next, if any? When is your next release and/or mix going to come out, if any?

Once we have your mix, vector file logo, marketing drop-ins, photo/s for your bio and/or mix and your answers to the questionnaire we’ll move forward with scheduling your mix on the calendar.
